Okrug Gornji on the island of Ciovo is 2km from Trogir, a city that is a part of the UNESCO heritage, 32 km from Split and 10 km from airport Resnik.

In Okrug Gornji you can find shops, post office, cash machine, ambulance, restaurants and taverns with a great offer of fish, Dalmatian specialities, and domestic vine.

For those who are keen on more active vacation there is a scuba diving school, jet-ski and tennis courts. Every day fish piknick to the islands of Solta, Drvenik or the southern side of Chiovo are beeing organised.

There is also a taxi boat that operates on a 30minute line Trogir-Okrug Gornji. Along the whole coast on a pebbled beach numerous caffe bars and pizzerias are located.

On the south side of island Ciovo there is a known sanctuary Gospa od Prizidnice, which is not to be unvisited.

Geographical position of the island offers half-day or a day long trip to sanctuaries or national parks. In only 40 minutes by car you can visit Sibenik, Split, Sinj, NP Krka, NP Plitvicka jezera, and in 2,5 hours Dubrovnik or Međugorje.
